What I like best about Personnel Tracker is how it puts me 1 step away from the HR data I touch every day, from phone numbers and employee IDs to work status and benefit plans. I can't tell you how easy having all this information in an organized, searchable central location makes the workload of our HR department!
Personnel Tracker also provides a level of employee self-service that saves my HR department quite a bit of work. Bizco staff can access Personnel Tracker to submit address changes, review time off and vacation availability and submit requests as well as request benefit changes. Personnel Tracker is Web-enabled, so our employees can access their personal files and make approved changes wherever they are. Because Bizco is a distributed organization, with project staff and sales people working from remote locations, this accessibility is crucial.
Personnel Tracker streamlines quite a few "behind the scenes" operations as well. It automates the smart-routing of time cards and expense reports, and the disbursement of shipping information for purchasing. It also simplifies asset management, tracking hardware, software, materials and even IP addresses! This asset management comes in handy in the employee hiring (asset provisioning) and termination (asset collection) processes.
