<H1>Lotus Notes Purchase Order Software</H1>
<H2>Streamlines our Procurement Process!</H2>
<P>Hi! I'm Pablo Purchaser. Victor Vice President asked me to take a moment to talk about our <B>Lotus Notes purchase order software</B>, and how it's impacted our procurement process here at Bizco.</P>
<P>This tool, the Tracker Suite<SUP>®</SUP> Purchase Tracker<SUP>TM</SUP> saves me so many headaches! Before Purchase Tracker came along, I'd often receive purchase orders without approvals, then I'd have to chase down the right supervisors for verification. Or worse, I'd fulfill a purchase order with the WRONG approvers, then I'd get grilled by Boris Beancounter, our Accounting head.</P>

<P>But with Purchase Tracker, when a PO hits my table it has all of the right approvals so that I know that it's ready to process. Receiving also uses the same forms to track the items that they receive for each purchase order. The data easily flows through the entire purchasing process!</P>
<P>I know our project teams love Purchase Tracker. Because it's Web-enabled, they can file POs from wherever they are over the Internet. What's more, Purchase Tracker supports multiple currencies and rate conversions- so whether Joe User is in one of our U.S. offices or somewhere in Taiwan, as long as he as an Internet connection he can file a PO for whatever he needs, one that automatically passes through the correct approval processes. Managers enjoy this flexibility as well, being able to review, approve/ disapprove and process purchase orders wherever they might be makes their jobs a lot easier. Our project managers also like that fact that POs are automatically filed in the appropriate project document, providing a complete picture of project development.</P>
<P>Some of the features we enjoy most are:</P>

<LI>The In/ Out boxes make it easy to submit and track purchase orders within Lotus Notes.
<LI>The PO forms themselves offer picklists tied to Project Tracker and Personnel Tracker, which allows users to quickly and accurately submit requests.
<LI>The PO approval routing is customizable, based on department rules and roles. The routing is automatic. I have peace of mind knowing any order I process has the right approvals. Purchase Tracker provides a secure environment for purchase request validation and approval.
<LI>Messages can also be attached during the routing process. Being able to attach notes about a purchase's priority or special circumstances really facilitate the approval process.
<LI>The Tracker Portal interface that Purchase Tracker resides in offers a flexible, role-based navigator. While general staff like Joe User can only submit POs and review their own orders, managers like myself can review all submitted POs, as well as perform approval/ disapproval and processing functions.
<LI>Boris Beancounter likes the fact that it integrates with fixed asset and legacy accounting programs.
<LI>Supports charge backs between business units.
<LI>Provides separate approval cycles for capital items.
<LI>I can email or even fax purchase requests directly from Purchase Tracker, through Lotus Notes. Processing doesn't get much easier than that!
<LI>A PO reporting function allows users to view the financial status of each request, Purchase Tracker also offers automated report compilations that can be viewed by vendor, requester, department, cost center or project. With these reports, we can easily track every aspect of our procurement operations.
